Our Riding Day Camp takes care of any child 6-12 years old who wishes to learn horseback riding. We use daily riding lessons paced to suit individual ability. Campers also learn valuable aspects of horse care, participate in arts and crafts, play games and more.

The lessons will focus on safety and confidence on the pony, allowing the rider to feel comfortable and have fun. They will be very personalized and will focus on learning proper riding without being boring. Campers will also learn horsemanship such as how to care for their horses with grooming and tacking. 

Campers will also have the opportunity to horse around with the ponies with activities such as horse painting, walking/trotting gait key hole and barrel races and ball games. These games will let the campers relax around the ponies and have a great time. 

The camp won't only be ponies though! Campers will be able to experience nature with walks through the 80 acre back yard and enjoy field games like badminton, frisby, lawn bowling, obstacle courses and more! Campers can also let their creativity loose with a range of daily crafts as well as supplies for a child to create, paint or draw what they wish. It all comes down to giving a well rounded and joyful day. 

 

A home made meal for lunch and various healthy snacks for throughout the day can be provided.
